Valentine's Day Treats

It's that time of year again when love is in the air and what better way to say, "I love you" then with some sweet treats!  We will have lots of sweet goodies that you can pick up in store or preorder to make sure you don't miss out!

We will also have an assortment of cake pops in the shop decorated for Valentine's Day. Two cake pops for $3 or $18 per dozen.

Along with the plain cake pops you can get specialty cake pops made. Pictured above are our edible rose cake pops in decorative planter for $20. We also have heart shaped cake pops for $3. If you would like either of our decorative cake pops please be sure to preorder because we will have a limited availability in the shop. 

Our  sugar cookies are another very popular item and we make a variety of different shaped and sizes for Valentine's Day all starting at $2.25 or $27 a dozen. 

 Let's not forget one of the most popular items on Valentine's day our chocolate covered strawberries (pictured above) for $27 per dozen. 

Lastly, we offer valentine dessert pails that can be mixed and matched with lots of different sweets and wrapped up for your love ones! Dessert Pails start at $25 and we also have a $30 option.

Along with everything pictured above we will also have a variety of different flavored truffles with decorative boxes, full size decorated cupcakes, and of course our much loved cookies.

Harford County Wedding Venues Continued...

As many of you know we had our first shop in bel Air before moving it to Have de Grace. So this week I am going to take you to Bel Air and tell you some of the great venues that we work with there. 

First stop will be Maryland Golf and Country Club which offers breath taking views of the countryside and golf courses fairways and greens. Since it is fall I must point out how amazing this venues looks with all of the fall foliage. Just gorgeous!

We have done both wedding cakes and deserts table set ups and both look great! 

This venue is easy and fantastic to work with for us. And we love that! So we would highly recommend them!

The next venue I want to take you is the Liriodendron Mansion. The Liriodendron has beautiful wooded grounds with gorgeous landscaping. The mansion offers a ceremony space so everything can be held on the grounds. It also has an outside shaded portico which is great for seated dinners. 

We have done many many weddings at the Liriodendron and setup and break down has always been very easy. Plus there are many different options for displaying your cakes or desserts. I can't mention weddings at the Liriodendron without mentioning our friends at Dean and Brown Catering, who we work with a lot at this venue. They are spectacular to work with and have really tasty food.

The mansion has great architectural details and history. 

So if you like me like to be outside in nature and bask in its beauty then the Liriodendron provides the perfect backdrop for that. 

The last venue I want to mention today is Rockfield Manor. This is a beautiful manor house with beautiful sprawling gardens and nature areas. The house is also tented off of the back for sit down receptions. 

Once again we have done both cakes and dessert tables at this venue. We have working relationships with all of the venues mentioned in these blog posts and it is so nice to have easy good relationships with venues where you know everything will go smoothly.  

Did I mention we also make favors? These sugar cookie favors matched the couples invitations and theme. We have also done cake pop favors and cakes in a jar.

Harford County Wedding Venues Continued

So continuing our tour of some of the great venues here in Harford County, we will start off again right here in Havre de Grace at La Banque de Flueve. In the last blog we covered La Banque at Seaplane Base and now we will take you inside to wonderful historic venue with vaulted ceilings, expansive windows, and spectacular architectural details. 

La Banque used to be a working bank and still has the banks original vault which makes a great back drop for cakes and dessert tables. 

 Isn't the ballroom beautiful? 

Of course there are other options for setting up your delicious desserts. La Banque also has two rooms both with fireplaces and an upstairs that overlooks the ballroom.

Another great option also located in Havre de Grace is Bulle Rock. Bulle Rock offers two different venues for weddings, Silks Restaurant and the Residence Club. Both locations offer elegant venues for your wedding day. 

Isn't their ballroom grand? What a beautiful backdrop for a wedding.

Here is another dessert display that we did at Bulle Rock. Since the ballroom is large it can be partitioned off and you can use the venue to get married have cocktail and your reception. 

 If you are looking for elegance with beautiful grounds for taking pictures then look no farther. Bulle Rock has a lot of great things to offer. 

The last venue I will showcase today is Water's Edge Event Center located in Belcamp. Water's edge is another beautiful ballroom setting that also offers a spectacular view of the Bush River. This is another venue that is a one stop shop where you can hold your ceremony, cocktail, and reception all on premises.

We have done many cakes and dessert tables for my Water's Edge couples and it is one of my favorite locations to set-up.
