Harford County Maryland Wedding Venues

Please I want to share some of the great options for getting married in the Harford County. Since we are located in Havre de Grace we get to work closely with a lot of these great venues. Being close to the water many of them even have a spectacular water view. I will share a couple of venues in multiple posts so keep your eyes out for some great venues in the next couple of weeks. 

Since we are located in Havre de Grace I will start with a venue that is located right out our back door at La Banque at Sea Plane Base. La Banque at Sea Plane base is a relatively new venue with absolutely breath taking views of the Chesapeake Bay. 

La Banque at Sea Plane Base has it all! A gorgeous place for ceremony and pictures that flows right into cocktail and reception. Every time we make a wedding cake or dessert table the pictures turn out fabulous because there is no beating the views of this venue. An added bonus is brides can arrive by land, sea, or plane. No many venue can accommodate  that!

Another great option for a water front venue in Havre de Grace is Swan Harbor Farm. Swan harbor has a lot to offer its brides with a great outdoor ceremony location over looking the bay and a tented reception area. Swan harbor also has a quaint little house where couples can have their cocktail hour or desserts. 

Here are several different set-up we have done all at Swan harbor. Each and every one is beautiful and different. I love all the options Swan harbor has to offer its couples.

The last venue I want to share with you today is the Stepping Stone Museum. This venue is a little bit different from the other two venues I shared with you. Stepping stone offers a more rural feel and is perfect for a barn or rustic wedding. This venue has picturesque views of fields of wild flowers and many many different options for spectacular pictures. 

Did I mention the break taking views of the fall foliage?

New Storefront and Progress Photos

So in case you don't follow me on Facebook, I wanted to share with all of you that my dream of having my own storefront bakery has finally come true. This has been in the works now for a few months but, we finally made it official and signed the lease. The bakery will be located in Bel Air MD, on Main St. We could not be more excited for the next chapter of Sweet Eats Cakes! I can't wait to open and start sharing all of my yummy treats with the community.

 

So I thought I would share some progress pictures with all of you. We were really lucky and have moved into a space that is practically move in ready. Just needs a little paint and some elbow grease and it should be ready in no time.
